Recently he switched his shop over to Axalta's Cromax Mosiac a LOW VOC solution. After a quick transition to the product he was ready to lay down the color of the year, Radiant Red on Jeff Gordon's #24 car just in time for the Phoenix race this November.

This is for Ron. How long did it take you to paint the entire car? All together it only took 6-7 hours to do the whole car. But we did a little bit one day and we did a little bit the next day. So the actual mosaic paint goes quickly for Low VOC paint. Do you use this brand of paint? You can be honest if you don’t use it are you going to switch too it? I’m actually using the Cromax Mosiac at our shop. We generally paint everything black but this is the first time we’ve done a radiant color like this. It’s simple so simple as long as you follow the rules of the paint it’s a no brainer. Maybe you should get back on the Axalta team because that is the best brand of paint there is. I’ve shot every single paint there is this is the easiest paint ever to use. And we do not pay him to say that. That’s my honor to say that. Thank you Ron.
